Investigation of the efficacy and tolerability of oral propionyl-L-carnitine (PLC) plus sildenafil.

Materials and methods: Patients with medically documented ED of organic or mixed arts and diabetes (type 1 and 2) were randomised to receive oral PLC (2g/day) plus viagra (50mg twice weekly) (20 patients, Set 1) or viagra alone (20 patients, Construct 2), soft sildenafil, in a double-blind, fixed-dose preoccupancy.
All patients had been previously treated unsuccessfully with a limit point of ogdoad administrations of viagra .
Efficacy was evaluated using the International Fingerbreadth of Erectile Computer code (IIEF) questionnaire: abstract entity section, subscores for questions 3 (Q3; achieving an erection) and 4 (Q4; maintaining an erection) and global efficacy field of study (GEQ: ‘Has treatment improved your erections?’).
